The all-embracing music catalog of the late/great David Bowie arrived at over one billion streams on Spotify last week, according to a recent post on the iconic musician’s Facebook page. The staggering milestone only took David Bowie less than 9 years to accomplish this superb feat. Presently, Spotify prides itself with around 140 million users and sixty million paid subscribers. Spotify, the on-demand music, podcast and video streaming subscription service introduced during October of 2008.

Bowie’s TOP 10 SPOTIFY Song Streams:

The classic legendary 1977 Bowie music track of “Heroes” (from the album of the same name) presents as the English music artist’s most streamed song on the music streaming podium, with quite reasonably due in large measure to the hit single being primarily recorded in English, French and German.
