Welcome Return of Legendary Indie Rockers The Dream Syndicate

The Dream Syndicate:
Steve Wynn – Guitar/Vocals
Dennis Duck – Drums
Karl Precoda – Guitar
Kendra Smith – Bass

Shaped by ‘listening & loving’ the music efforts to underground gems such as ‘The Fall’, ‘Big Star’, ‘Neu!’ and ‘The Gun Club’, back in 1981 out of Los Angeles, California, U.S.A., The Dream Syndicate was founded by existing members now of Mr. Steve Wynn (guitar/ vocals), Dennis Duck (drums), Karl Precoda (guitar) and Kendra Smith (bass), and established themselves ‘very quickly’ with their 1982 superb debut album release of “The Days of Wine and Roses” as one of the lead band’s erupting through the American 1980’s college-rock radio charge. The Dream Syndicate continued throughout the 80’s with impressive indie rock album releases of “Medicine Show” (1984, A&M Records), “Out of the Grey” (1986, Chrysalis Records) and “Ghost Stories” (1988, Enigma Records).

The Dream Syndicate throughout the years have been a massively leading influential band for an infinitive number of alternative rock artists. They brought fantastically forth a curvaceous Neo-psychedelia/Paisley Underground music vibe that still draws many to those magic album recordings, as well as their EP releases of “The Dream Syndicate” (1982, Down There Records), “Tell Me When It’s Over” (1983, Rough Trade Records) and live albums “This Is Not The New Dream Syndicate Album… Live!” (1984, A&M Records), “Live at Raji’s” (1989, Enigma Records) and “The Day Before Wine and Roses” (1994, Normal).

It is so thrilling to report here today that these 1980’s alternative/indie rock gems are back on the present music scene with just announcing a new upcoming album. On September 8th, The Dream Syndicate will be releasing their overall 5th studio album entitled “How Did I Find Myself Here?” for ANTI- Records. It will be their first new album release in almost 30 years with the last being 1988’s discharge of “Ghost Stories”.
