Leonard Cohen (September 21, 1934 – November 7, 2016)
Leonard Cohen was a Canadian singer, songwriter, musician, poet, novelist, and painter. His work explored religion, politics, isolation, sexuality, and personal relationships.
His music career spanned from 1967 to 2016. Some of his noted albums, “Songs of Leonard Cohen” (1967), featuring “Suzanne” and “So Long Marianne”, followed by “Songs from a Room” (1969), featuring “Bird on the Wire”, “Songs of Love and Hate” (1971), featuring “Avalanche” &“Famous Blue Raincoat” and “Various Positions” (1984), featuring the iconic super hit “Hallelujah”. His fourteenth and final studio album “You Want It Darker” (14th) released on October 21, 2016, by Columbia Records. It discharged 19 days before Leonard Cohen’s death. The album unfolded towards the end of Leonard Cohen’s life and focuses on death, God, and humour. It released to enormous critical acclaim.

Upcoming November “Tower Of Song: A Memorial Tribute To Leonard Cohen”
On this upcoming November 6th, music artists including Elvis Costello, Philip Glass, Feist, Adam Cohen and more will take part in “Tower Of Song: A Memorial Tribute To Leonard Cohen” at Montreal’s Bell Center. It will mark the anniversary of Leonard Cohen’s passing.
